Art for Thoughtful Homes

Endicott & Co. was created to bring historic works out of the archive and into everyday interiors.

We believe the objects we live with shape the atmosphere of a home. In an era of disposable imagery and constant digital noise, we are drawn to works that carry permanence, craftsmanship, and cultural memory.

Our collection focuses on thoughtfully restored historical art and design: works chosen not simply for nostalgia, but for their continued visual relevance. Some are quiet and understated; others graphic and architectural. Together, they reflect a lasting visual language that continues to influence how we see and decorate the world around us.

Our Approach

Historical imagery is widely available; thoughtful curation is far less common.

Every work in the Endicott & Co. collection is carefully researched, restored, and prepared with attention to tonal balance, detail, composition, and presentation. The goal is not to modernize historical works, but to preserve the atmosphere and integrity that made them compelling in the first place.

Presentation is treated as part of the artwork itself. Borders, proportions, and standardized sizing are designed to echo the feeling of historical print objects while integrating naturally into contemporary interiors and readily available framing formats.

We approach restoration as a form of conservation. Signs of age, texture, and character are evaluated carefully rather than erased indiscriminately. Historical works should retain a sense of history and material presence, rather than feel flattened, overprocessed, or disconnected from their original context

The collection is built slowly and intentionally through archival research, restoration, proofing, and production expertise shaped by years of experience in visual craftsmanship and print production.

Collection Philosophy

The collection spans photography, botanical illustration, natural history, decorative arts, and historical print culture.

We are particularly drawn to overlooked works and artists whose influence extends far beyond their modern recognition. Rather than overwhelming the archive with endless reproduction, Endicott & Co. focuses on pieces that continue to feel visually alive within contemporary interiors.

Our Founder

Endicott & Co. was founded by E.M. Endicott, a creative production and studio operations leader with a background in print production, retouching oversight, color management, and visual systems.

After years spent managing complex commercial production workflows, her focus gradually shifted toward historical archives, decorative arts, and the preservation of overlooked visual material. What began as a personal restoration practice evolved into a broader effort to create thoughtfully produced objects rooted in history, craftsmanship, and enduring design.
