Endicott & Co. was created to bring historic works out of the archive and into everyday interiors.

We believe the objects we live with shape the atmosphere of a home. In an era of disposable imagery and constant digital noise, we are drawn to works that carry permanence, craftsmanship, and cultural memory.

Our collection focuses on thoughtfully restored historical art and design: works chosen not simply for nostalgia, but for their continued visual relevance. Some are quiet and understated; others bold, graphic, or richly patterned. What connects them is a sense that they still have something to say.

Our Approach

Historical imagery is widely available; thoughtful curation is far less common.

Every work in the Endicott & Co. collection is carefully researched, restored, and prepared with attention to detail, composition, proportion, and presentation. The goal is not to modernize historical works, but to preserve the character and integrity of the original.

Presentation is part of that process. Considered borders, balanced proportions, and standard sizes allow each work to retain a sense of historical presence while making it easier to frame and live with today.

Restoration is approached with restraint. Signs of age, texture, and character are considered carefully rather than erased indiscriminately. The aim is to preserve what gives the original its atmosphere, not to make it look newly made.

The collection is built slowly and intentionally through archival research, careful restoration, proofing, and years of hands-on experience in print production.

What We Look For

The collection spans photography, botanical illustration, natural history, decorative arts, and historical print culture.

We are particularly drawn to overlooked works and artists whose influence extends far beyond their modern recognition. Rather than overwhelming the archive with endless reproduction, Endicott & Co. focuses on pieces that continue to feel visually alive within contemporary interiors.

Our Founder

Endicott & Co. was founded by E.M. Endicott, whose background in print production, image preparation, color, and creative production shaped the company’s attention to how artwork is restored and presented.

After years working with complex visual-production processes, her focus increasingly turned toward historical archives, decorative arts, and overlooked visual material. What began as a personal restoration practice developed into Endicott & Co., a collection built around the belief that historically meaningful work can still feel entirely at home in the present.
